I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science at Quinnipiac University. I completed my dietetic internship at Long Island University Post where I had the opportunity to work with student athletes on campus, as well as spend some time at Cohen’s Eating Disorder Clinic. It was during these rotations that I realized my strong passion for helping others improve their relationship with food. After completing my internship, I worked at a partial hospitalization program for a year where I spent time working primarily with adolescents. I then moved on to work as an outpatient dietitian and started seeing adolescents and adults in need of dietary support. I have remained in the outpatient space for the last 2 years. I am beyond excited to begin this new journey at Meant To Eat and cannot wait to continue providing dietary support for this new community!
As a dietitian with a strong commitment to helping individuals
develop a balanced and intuitive relationship with food, my number one
priority is making sure my clients feel supported and understood throughout
their journey. I know first hand how difficult it can be to heal a relationship with food that has been tainted by diet culture and other outside influences. And it is because of my own experience that I feel so motivated to help others achieve food freedom. My favorite part about working in this space is being able to work with my clients long term and see them reach goals that at one point seemed “impossible” (though I will repeatedly tell you no goal is impossible and you can achieve anything you set your mind to!). I know this work can be challenging, which is why I try my best to bring at least one smile to my client’s faces during sessions!! Outside of my work as a dietitian, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, Tom, and our French bulldog, Pearl. I love exploring new restaurants and dessert spots with friends and family (I just moved to Nashville and am always looking for
recommendations!), curling up with a good book, traveling and taking
spontaneous trips to Disney World.
